Welcome to Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA)
MACRA was established pursuant to Section 3 of the Communications Act, 1998 of the Laws of Malawi to assume the regulatory functions of the communications sector which had been performed by the Malawi Post and Telecommunications Corporation (MPTC). MACRA is among the three institutions established following the dissolution of the MPTC. Download the Communications Act here.
