2024-2025 FFA Banquet
FFA had its annual banquet on April 28, 2025. Many awards and recognitions were given to high school students this year. The FFA announced its new officers for the coming year 2025-2026. The seniors also gave a “Thank you speech” regarding Mrs. Dietz as their FFA adviser.

Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge 2025
During the 2024-2025 academic year, E-Communities (and other Kansas communities) have the opportunity to host local-level entrepreneurship competitions and submit their event to be part of the “Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge Series”. Local entrepreneurship competitions must meet certain guidelines in order to qualify as part of the Series. The YEC series gives Kansas students hands-on experience thinking entrepreneurial. These students put in countless hours into preparation and some of them will get a chance to compete at State as well.

Vet Science Contest 2024
November 20, 2024 - At the Vet Science contest in Wakeeney, the Saint Francis senior division placed 4th as a team! The four top scorers were Presley, Brayden, Maggie and Cris. Presley received a medal for being 7th high individually! There is a lot that goes into vet science and a lot of studying that has to take place in order to do well at the contest.

2nd in Oberlin

On November 12, 2024 - The SFCHS Scholars’ Bowl team won 2nd in Oberlin at their first meet. Second place was originally tied with two other teams but when the judges looked at head-to-head performances, St. Francis came on top.
