Patrick Long (Democratic Party) (also known as Pat) is a member of the New Hampshire State Senate, representing District 20. He assumed office on December 4, 2024. His current term ends on December 2, 2026.

Long (Democratic Party) ran for election to the New Hampshire State Senate to represent District 20. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.

Biography

Patrick Long attended Manchester West High School. His career experience includes working as a union ironworker. Long has served as the mayor and alderman of Manchester, New Hampshire, on the Manchester School Board, and on the Manchester Planning Board.[1][2]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 13, 2014. Incumbent Jean Jeudy and incumbent Patrick Long were unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Daniel Heck and Brinck Slattery were unopposed in the Republican primary. Glenn RJ. Ouellette (I) did not qualify for the general election ballot. Jeudy, Long, Heck and Slattery faced off in the general election.[7] Incumbents Long and Jeudy defeated Heck and Slattery in the general election.[8]

On November 4, 2008, Long was re-elected by finishing first in the Hillsborough 10 District of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, taking one of the three potential seats there. Long was followed by Jean Jeudy (1,453), Alexis Chininis (1,351), Kevin McGrath (950), Cormine Corriea (829),and Muni Savyon (679).[13] Long raised $2,450 for his campaign fund.[14]
