A man was rushed to hospital after allegedly being glassed by a bottle in a Croydon street fight on Friday, May 2. Police are still looking for the person responsible for the reported attack.
Officers were called to reports of an assault with a glass bottle in London Road, Croydon at around 7.15pm on Friday. A 34-year-old man was then rushed to hospital with injuries following the alleged incident.
These were assessed as being non-life-changing. Police have confirmed that no arrests have yet taken place.
However, enquiries into the incident are still underway.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Service said: "Officers were called by the London Ambulance Service to London Road, Croydon at 19:13 on Friday, 2 May.
"This follows reports a man had been injured after been assaulted with a glass bottle.
"A 34-year-old man was taken to hospital, where his injuries were deemed non-life changing. No arrests have been made and investigations continue."
