Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH

On 18 December 2000, the 36 clubs of the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 established what was then known as the ‘Ligaverband’, which – as an association – has been responsible for professional football in Germany ever since and has operated under the name DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga e.V. since 2016. The operational business is managed by DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga GmbH, based in Frankfurt, which – together with its subsidiaries – is responsible for organising and marketing German professional football.

SportsInnovation

SportsInnovation, the DFL’s dedicated sports and technology conference, taking place at the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Düsseldorf in March 2026, is an innovation hub for the sports industry. Exhibitors from the fields of sport, media, technology and sports facilities will present their innovative products, services and ideas throughout the event and, in 2026, the centrepiece of the summit will once again be the ‘Innovation Games’, where the latest technologies and visions for the future will be showcased in live applications.

WRC

Founded in 1973, the FIA World Rally Championship is the world’s toughest motorsport, period.
